HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553X

Came with many scratches and dents. Needed replacement parts right out of the box. Did not come with toners as the product description stated. Never got it to work. Had to send it right back, still waiting on the refund.

It was a little scary buying a used printer. We relied on the glowing reviews that previous customers had given this vendor. The reviews were accurate, the printer works great.

I purchased this printer in 2017. It was great until about three years ago. Now, it the pages come out streaked — white streaks through the images and/or black streaks over the pages. I have tried everything: (1) changed the fuser; (2) changed the toner collection unit; (3) updated the software - in fact, deleted and reinstalled with the latest software; (4) re-calibrated it numerous times; (5) cleaned it numerous times. I am disgusted. It’s a printer that was both expensive and costly to supply. I’m disgusted that it didn’t last nearly as long as much less expensive printers I have had in the past. Now I have to figure out how I can get this extremely heavy thing out of my house and where to dump it. I seriously doubt I will give HP another try.

This printer can be very frustrating to connect to the home network. When it's connected it's fine, prints nice, but I dread having to reconnect this printer. Also, the OEM printer cartridges are super pricy.

Colors are perfect. great quality. worth the price
