The HP LaserJet Tank MFP 2604sdw is an excellent choice for this use case. Since it's a laser printer, it won't clog, and it has outstanding page yields thanks to its refillable reservoir. It's also quick and easy to connect to from a wide variety of devices. That said, it's relatively slow, especially compared to most other laser printers which tend to be much quicker.

Great, easy to install and use, great print quality!

I originally bought this printer and called support because the scans using the document feeder were coming out all distorted. Everything was fine with the flatbed scans, but feeder was distorting all documents. I spent an hour on the phone with HP and they had me test the drivers, reset the printer, etc. I told them point blank it cannot be the computer, nor the driver, because the copy function does the same distortion when using the feeder. They offered to send another one, but then realized: let's check at the local brick and mortar shop. I tried a copy from the local shop's demo device using the feeder. Same story, and the clerk also confirmed they all have this issue. So this remains a great printer, but if you want to make copies of documents or scan PDFs using the feeder, get a different one as you are guaranteed to be disappointed.
