For when you need a substantial, planted, tall tripod, this is a good choice. I wont be thrilled lugging it around for a full day, but I know its not going to flex at all. The head has a lot of adjustment options, and fluid action is very nice. I needed it to handle my DVX200, not so much for a mirrorless.

I recently got this tripod and havent used it on a job yet so these are really just first impressions. The panning feels a little bit gritty if not on pretty high tension. The tiltis better. The overall build is a get what you pay for situation. It is a good fit for the weight of my Canon C200.

I use this with my c300 mark II and after 1 year there is way too much play in the tilt. Very disappoined in the quality for the amount this system cost.

My Compass 12 Miller head went wonky on me. I was gone to send in to have fixed and needed a stand-in while the Miller head was being worked on. I thought this might be ok while I was waiting on my Miller to return. When it arrived I was so impressed with the build quality, I just might not send in my Miller. Just WOW! Fantastic and I can't believe the cost. You can't go wrong, save your money and just buy this.
