Absolutely fantastic tripod!!!! A tripod can last you a lifetime and this is a sound investment. I purchased this with a 405 geared head, adding this with the geared column it is fantastic for precise movements when composing interiors and studio work. I also use this with the 057 ball head and Kirk L bracket when shooting portraits and the the quick release leg system is far better than my previous tripod which had a twist lock system. It has a great maximum height, can go low enough, is light for the size but it will stay firm. It is a very well enginered tripod!!!

I shudder to think how much money I have spent on tripods over the years, some good some bad, this one was expensive but worth every penny it is really well made, and should last me until I pop my clogs.
