Manfrotto 3 Way 056 200pl Tripod Noir

The price was good also solid build, a bit fiddle to set up at first .Pity it did not have level built in,but still good for price.Just make sure it is fully tightened I used a level and a level template out of cardboard to set up.

Bought this to use with a 5D Mk 2 and lens as big as 70-200. It is very solidly built. Doesnt seem to have any problem with the weight. Has three different levers which allow you great flexibility for various angles. Used it last night to photograph the sky without a problem. Id recommend it.

Excellent tripod head. Small, easy to use and secure. I went from this head to a ball head but I'm back using this head. The ball head couldn't hold the camera in a horizontal position (the head didn't move but couldn't tighten the camera enough to say still). This has more contact area between the mounting plate and camera base.

The folded head will fit very nicly in my gear bag.
