The GT3533LS is a sturdy, stable, relatively light weight tripod. The build quality is excellent. A good match for a D850 & either Nikon AF-S 80-400 mm zoom or 500mm PF (if you can find one). Highly recommended.

Ive used a Manfrotto aluminum tripod for more than 7 years but this Gitzo is a huge step up in engineering and quality. Currently using it with a Wimberley 200 and a RRS BH-55 (with lenses from 300mm to 600 mm) and could not be happier. These are once in a lifetime purchases - do it right and do it once.

This tripod is awesome. Rock solid. Legs lock and unlock with ease. Lightweight considering the size. Love it.

Well I've owned a few aluminum tripods but they were a bit flimsy and didn't hold up in the wind. This tripod gave me no insecurity and was lite for it's size. I doubt if I'll ever need a different model again

Using with a RRS BH-55 and a Wimberly Sidekick for my Nikon D500 and various lenses. Tripod is rock solid when using the gimbal and my 200-500, or on the beach doing long exposures.
