This ball head works fantastic. Easy to install, remove and the stability is perfect.

There are better ball heads out there, but this is a great product for the price. Smooth, solid and not too heavy. My heaviest lens is the Tamron 150-600 and this head handles it easily with no drooping that i can see. My only dislike is that the ball lock knob and the friction knob seem to do the same job ie. lock the ball. Seems like they both act on the ball in the same way. Not a big deal, just choose one to work with, I suppose.

Its a solid piece of gear. I bought it to help me capture wildlife with my 150-600 boomer, and its doing just that. Smooth, easy to use, heavy enough to manage this load easily, but not too big. Well engineered, it makes the adjustments easy and it was well-priced.

This is a solid ball head that will hold heavy gear. It has a simple yet effective safety mechanism on the plate retainer system. The action is smooth, i have used it in very low temperatures with no problems. It is not as silky as the super expensive RRS gigantic ball heads, but feels much nicer than the price suggest. The friction knob doesnt seem to serve much purpose but it is much smaller in size than the main one and doesnt seem to create confusion. i think its a very solid purchase for the price and I would definitely recommend it. I am using this with the Benro TMA38CL legs and its a very sturdy combination that also look good together.

I bought this to replace a smaller ball head that suffered with "creep" with my Canon 100-400 zoom lens. This one is solid as a rock. When I fasten it down its stays put right where I put it. No more guessing where it will "settle" after I tighten the ball.
