Great for Mirrorless

I have this ball head mounted on my travel tripod, so its small size was an important factor in the purchase. I've only used it on one trip, so I can't speak to long-term reliability, but it handled my mirrorless camera + long lens with ease.

Amazing. Smooth.

I had to replace a head on my old tripod and this was exactly what I needed!!! It is so smooth and easy to use!!! I love it!!!

I bought this to replace the ball head on my tripod, I found it smooth toadjust and rigid when locked. I have bought a second to use on my hide clamp.

Exactly right

Bought to accomodate the weight of a D810 with an emphasis on light weight but overall strength & utility. I've used a B0 with a D300 & found a little slumping with telezooms (but hardly intolerable.) No issue with this head, the D810 & a 24-70 lens. I've not yet tried long primes or telezooms, and I wouldn't be surprised by some weakness at the extreme end of its weight range, but for overall flexibility/utility/value, I'm as pleased as possible.

Only one problem.

Overall I'm verry please with this product. I can get my camera balenced with my DA 18-135 and shorter lenses. But when I use my 70-300 lens the image drops after I lock the head. It is necessary to aim slightly high, lock it and let the image drop to where I want it.
