I purchased this to support a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens and it does a great job doing it. The grip is designed for larger hands but I'm ok with that. If I had smaller hands I probably wouldn't like it too much though. It's built solid and it is lightweight so carrying it around isn't an issue. Great product!!

I want to love it. It's solid, fast and so light. Extension is great for a 6'7" tall photographer and still solid and steady at full extension. However, two days into shooting an NCAA Track and Field Meet with a 300mm f/2.8 attached, a rubber 'O' ring on the top section clamp has come out of the clamp housing, stopping the movement of that section when extending or especially collapsing. Slows things down considerably. This should be a five star rated product, but I question its durability over a few years, much less a few months of regular use.

The monopod is light, yet sturdy. I have attached a Benro Gimbal and this combination is working well for outdoor sports and birding.
