Le Beurer FT 58 est un thermomètre auriculaire infrarouge qui donne un résultat en quelques secondes et peut aussi mesurer la température des objets et de la pièce, ce qui le rend polyvalent. Il propose une alarme de fièvre, des icônes smiley et une mémoire de 10 mesures, avec capuchons de protection et boîtier fournis. Cependant, plusieurs avis d’utilisateurs indiquent que les mesures sont parfois nettement trop basses et donc peu fiables, surtout lors de mesures répétées. Il ne permet qu’une mesure dans l’oreille, sans mode frontal ni sans contact, et l’écran n’est pas rétroéclairé, ce qui complique l’usage la nuit. Il s’agit donc d’un appareil pratique et multifonction, mais pas du plus précis pour une surveillance très rigoureuse de la fièvre.

Works well, but beeps when you use it to measure temperature. And for a baby nothing should beep in their ear otherwise they start crying, or wake up when sleeping. Removed 1x star due to the beeping. Removed another start because the setting are difficault to manage. You have to press two buttons at the same time to switch between contact mode and ear mode. But it is not that simple. And at night when you get random errors and you press buttons and the thing beeps it is not great. But it works well. These are just the things I didn't like.

This product has a excellent storage case that is very helpfull. however for baby use in the night it is difficult. it has no backlight. you will need a light to read the temperature.

This product worked perfectly for the first 2 months, however it stopped recording properly after that. Consistently gave readings of 32 degrees, even on my toddler that had a temp of 39!(confirmed by Dr) the box says it has a 6 year guarantee but it's not returnable through takealot!
