Sony Bravia 8 II 65" QD-OLED (2025)

I purchased the 65" model. As usual, delivery, and setup, by John Lewis was excellent. The setup initialising Google is quite slow. Once setup, changing functions is very smooth. The upscaling, and Picture Quality ( I prefer the 'Professional' Mode ) are exceptional. This is especially noticeable in Standard Definition content particularly DVDs. Given the thinness of the TV I had my doubts about the audio quality produced by the TV but, surprise, surprise, it is really good. If one is connecting a soundbar to the TV, the automatic switching of audio from TV Speakers to an Audio System (connected via HDMI eARC ) is seamless. Various video reviews have criticised the TV for it's red tint but I have not noticed it. The Bravia 8 ii receives a thorough recommendation from me.
