I bought this TV just over five years ago. And over that time it performed very well. Visitors would comment on the quality of the picture. Unfortunately the screen just died and the repair cost is more than a new replacement TV. Based on its original unit price it cost us $1,000 per year driving down the value for money and its poor overall rating.

Great TV and an even better offer as the TV was reduced and came with a projector.

Had the 2021 version, which failed after 2.5 years. John Lewis replaced it under their warranty with the 2024 model. Not sure if the picture is quite as good as the 2021 version, but well done John Lewis

Had the TV for around a two months now and all round it's a solid TV with a great picture, the one cable/box is a good idea for cable management but couple of issues. I use SKYQ and the SKY soundbar and found that the TV won't automatically turn on why SKY is turned on. Took a lot of trying different settings on TV and SKYQ. Think I have sorted that now, but is slow getting to the SKY compared to my other Samsung TVs Second issue is that the TV just turns off randomly then starts up again searching for a connection. LED flashing 5 times so it's something to do with low power being received? So far unable to resolve this one so with Samsung/JL technical to see what they can do

We decided to upgrade our "old" Samsung 55" curved screen TV and after visiting the JL showroom chose this slightly larger 65" 8K model. While there may not be a lot of 8K broadcasts currently, we are hopefully well prepared as this happens going forward! The high quality of the images even with current level broadcasts is exceptional and I notice it most when playing BluRay or DVD discs. Add to this the Smart TV features that come as standard with this Samsung model, plus two hand controls (the multi button control which allows direct accessing of main streaming channels or the slim smaller control for easy key controls) and the Samsung hub (to allow easy plugging in of external feeds and the sound bar), and all my family is very glad we made the change! Coupled with the smaller but powerful sized Samsung HW-Q800D soundbar, the combination is excellent. The additional side benefits of a 5 year warranty and cash refunds on purchase simply added to make if an excellent value deal!
