Buttons icons still wear away over time, but the pointer calibration and button responsiveness is essentially the same as OEM so I’m happy. We’ve tried other more expensive replacement remotes that have fared far worse.

We bought this to replace our broken remote, and the quality is much poorer than the original. LG customer support told us this is the right one to get, but the buttons don't press well and it doesn't work as well as the first remote.

Unfortunately for me I spent the past year thinking that this pile of junk was working and that it was my tv that doesn’t. Only when I hired the geek squad to come out and diagnose did they tell me that this remote is the problem!!!

Aside from the voice control button not functioning it seems to work okay. I have 2 wild kids, and I have bought at least 5 remotes for my tv, this one seems to be lasting the longest, every other day I am reassembling remotes that have been dropped and come apart (this one does too) but at least this one works after putting it back together

Now having 2 controller (the one that came with the TV) and now this extra one. No more searcher for the remote.
