Motorola Razr 40 Ultra 256 Go Noir 5G

Was an OK phone, while it worked. Used the folding function a lot, and performance was OK. Until the screen stopped working after 18 months and the hinge broke down. And then Motorola told me it was my fault and refused to do a warranty repair. And the independent repair guy told me that it would cost me $800 to fix. And that he sees this same issue every day. And that he would never buy one. Anyway, replaced it with a Google Pixel 9a. Life is good again.

If you're in the market for a clamshell foldable then Motorola has created a shining new star in the Razr 40 Ultra – knocking even the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 out of orbit. But there are caveats: the inevitable screen crease, along with fingerprint smears and reflections, plus CPU throttling and some overheating means this won't be the dream from another galaxy for everyone. Credit where it's due though: the dominant 3.6-inch cover display is what puts this flip-phone worlds apart from the competition.

Not worth it. I got my first phone which was Motorola Razr. Within 3 months the screen broke at the flip. I was told it's not covered under warranty. Despite being a faulty device I was told it was cosmetic fault and they couldn't prove I didn't do it. I never even dropped the phone. It was sent for investigation and repaid. I was told the phone was fixed and I could pick it up. When I got to the store they said it was an error. The phone was not fixed, there were no parts to fix it and had no answers for me in terms of moving forward. This was a manufacturer issue, I got blamed for it and now there are no parts to fix it. Waste of $1000. So disappointed. Don't get a flip phone if anything goes wrong with the flip side of things. You get blamed

Best value at $800 color is great and the phone even comes with a case so no need to splurge any extra or worry about using your phone till one is delivered.
