Le Huawei P40 est un smartphone 4G doté d’un écran OLED de 6,1 pouces en résolution 1080p. Il dispose de 8 Go de RAM et de 128 Go de stockage interne. La batterie a une capacité d’environ 3800 mAh, avec prise en charge de la charge rapide filaire et de la charge sans fil. Le bloc photo arrière regroupe plusieurs capteurs, complétés par une caméra frontale. L’appareil fonctionne sous Android avec l’interface Huawei, sans services Google intégrés.

The Huawei P40's hardware is as great as the last few generations of the company's flagship phones, but there are limitations. You don't get wireless charging or a high refresh rate screen by opting for the P40, which a lot of other phones around this price offer. The biggest restriction continues to be the lack of Google Mobile Services that hampers this device as you don't have access to some of the most popular Android applications and services.

I just received my P40 recently and was looking for ways to update my apps. I have gone through Phone Clone, as recommended on the huawei uk official website. Managed to get most of the apps cloned. So its ok. BUT! I found out something interesting a few days ago. Apparently, there is a new thing released by huawei called Petal Search, said to be an alternative for google app search where you can find the apps you need/want. Yesterday, I tried downloaded from huawei app store and installed on my phone. Surprisingly, it works!! Haha! There are facebook, watsapp, instagram, bbc and etc. *P.S Carphone should have told us about this trick, instead of me having to go online for the details myself

I have now had a few weeks with my device and I will be honest, the lack of Google did concern me to begin with when I was looking at buying but after a small amount of research it completely changed my mind! The ability to get apps is super easy but what really stuck out to me was the use of phone clone thats built into the devices natively. A ton of apps that aren't currently available on App Gallery actually moved over and still logged in! Huawei are always known to have great cameras so that was a huge reason I wanted to grab this phone and I haven't been let down. I have grabbed some great photos already and highly recommend it on this front. Overall it's a superb piece of kit and I recommend it to anyone who wants some top tier tech.

I got this phone though Carphone warehouse and it has been now 5 months of use, never thought i can survive without google services ... BUT GUESS WHAT? ... there is a better far greater vast life out of google mental wall once you break free. this Big device on all specs Small in the size is a breakthrough masterpiece from Huawei. good size for one busy hand use, Great Camera performance you can literally touch the moon surface with 30 x zoom. fast, reliable, battery life is awesome .... I am impressed. also a lot of apps by android are there to replace google apps, you can download Here maps to replace google maps, even better. the only app i wanted to get but unfortunately not available at all on Huawei P40 is my Barclays Bank. I would definitely recommend this great phone if you can live and survive without Google. F
