Le Gigaset A270A est un téléphone sans fil avec répondeur intégré et affichage du numéro. Il comprend un combiné DECT, une base avec station de charge et deux piles rechargeables AAA. L’appareil propose un répertoire de 80 contacts, un journal d’appels et un répondeur de 25 minutes. L’autonomie annoncée atteint 18 heures en communication et 200 heures en veille, avec une portée donnée jusqu’à 50 mètres en intérieur et 300 mètres en extérieur.

This is a well designed and attractive looking phone. It is easy to set up once you realise you only need to concentrate on three or four pages of the rather lengthy instruction booklet. You can then add features as and when you need them though many of the functions are likely to remain unused by many people. Displays are clear and easy to read; sound quality is excellent even for someone with some hearing loss.

We are not impressed overall. Smart looking trio of phones. Not hearing aid friendly, I can only hear with the "speaker button on", and I only have moderate rate hearing loss. A definite thumbs down. Other features are OK.

My previous Gigset phone did not have a handsfree button on the handset, just on the separate base. As I am deaf, I can press the extra button as soon as I pick up the phone, and actually hear the caller. Also, did not like the separate base, which took up an extra power socket, and meant the handset was plugged in the other side of the room, and I usually arrived too late to take the call. Good buy for me.
