This video doorbell also acts as an alarm for our front porch and one unexpected benefit is that the LED lights the porch and steps when I get home in the dark and have forgotten to turn on the sensor light. It lets us see who delivers what and when they arrive, and also where they put the packages. Even better for the family is that they can see who's at the door before they open it, and can communicate with whoever it is. It also has the function that if we're away from home, it can call me on my mobile and I can talk to whoever is at the door.
