Bosch GCM 12 GDL

Lovely sliding action, really nice feeling although to start it feels bit loose until you get used to it. The blade brake is very severe so watch out for that backlash. The laser is next to useless for any precision work as you can’t dial it in close enough without the left laser becoming so feint you cat see it. The dust extraction is woeful and I’ll need to fix that somehow. Very powerful, great cutting size and came really square out the box. Nice blade too.

Great piece of equipment particularly for a small shop. Fits tight up to the wall without the space needed for roller bars on traditional Crosscut Saws. With Bosch you pay a little bit more but there is no denying the quality, this machine will last me years.

Great capacity and smooth work.They claim it is 80% efficient at dust collection, but even with a Festool Dust Extractor attached, the dust flies everywhere. There are alterations you can make, but even then, prepare to clean your work space after each session. I love this saw, and wouldnt go another way. It pains me to see that dust fly though.

Sorry guys still in box am extending my shed can’t wait to get it out but my mate has one and it’s great I also have the small mitre saw which is faultless love it but with the glide you can get larger timber cuts that’s the reason I bought the daddy I have a lot of bocsh tools and can’t fault anything
