Birkenstock Sandales 'Arizona LEVE' umbra

These were my first pair. Once I found the right size it was great. Very comfortable. Love them.

Bought these for my sister, she loved her birks but her dog did too (as a chew toy) so she was very happy to get another pair as they’re super comfy and casual

I have a high arch and a wider foot, making any comfortable sandal a tough find. There's a reason these are a classic, and it turns out they work for a foot like mine as well. The adjustable top straps help dial in for my foot shape. The leather will stretch a bit with use, as will the footbed reform, so what may be a snug fit at first will quickly loosen up a bit. Whether that's good or bad is up to you. The width just accomodates my 2E foot without discomfort. A 4E or 6E is likely already looking elsewhere. The footbed was immensely comfortable and conforming to my arch right away, and over the first two weeks it's gotten better. These are now my daily drivers at home for kitchen work, my standing desk, and just moving around a house with hardwood floors to give me some extra comfort and support.

I finally purchased my first pair of Birkenstocks at age 57. Only have a few days on them. So far moderately comfortable, but realize there is a probably a break in period. Great colorway. Sizing runs a bit small. I am normally a 44 (10 1/2) but had to purchase a 42 (9) to get the correct fit.

I had read other reviews about the sizing, but I found my Birk's to be my usual size, and the narrow fit seems to be the same as a US regular width. I am glad I went with the Habana color leather and soft foot bed, and am following online recommendations for the break-in period.
