The Sony DSC-HX99 Offers a Fantastic Zoom in a very small & light body but if you are coming from a DSLR, you will be disappointed by its poor low light handling that prompts you to use a flash in daylight, but if you are new to photography beyond your mobile phone, this is a great starter that can teach you about so many controls and options that you would expect in a "proper" camera including RAW file capacity. Despite the low light issues that lead to grainy images it can take very nice shots and WOW that 720mm zoom in such a small pocketable camera that you can & should take everywhere. Note, no socket for external mic which is a huge shame especially when it's capable of 4K video. The image quality of the RX range beats this hands down but it doesn't offer that amazing zoom and is a lot more expensive so there is a trade off, but I would still recommend the HX99 providing you know what you getting or on a limited budget.

Bought the case as an identical replacement for the one I lost in the Indian Ocean cos I stupidly forgot to take the flap off when we were out in a speedboat and it flew off. Very robust and protects the camera

Great product can be confusing which way around the lense cover fits

For the listed Sony camera it'd fit perfectly. For RX100 it is a bit tight as camera width is few mm wider.
