Needed a new eyecup for my Canon 6D Mark 2 after the bottom plastic bar on mine snapped off, and the rubber eventually aged out and cracked open too. Replacement came, a like for like replacement as sold. Sorted. It's a minor part but a major piece of the camera given you'll near constantly have your eye against the viewfinder, so I'm glad I got the proper part. There are a number of Canon eyecups for different models though, so do check your camera + compatibility before buying!

This is the second time I have ordered this accessory from Castle Cameras. The online process was quick and easy, as was the dispatch and delivery times. Great customer service and this will be the first site I check for any future needs.

Bought one of these for my Canon AE-1 Program. These old SLRs don't have the adjustable dioptre that the modern digital cameras have. So one has to purchase an addon eye cup with the appropriate correction lens incorporated in it. The one I chose works perfectly and allows me to see to focus without the faff of trying to view the subject through a small viewfinder with my spectacles on. Something I've never been able to do effectively. Would recommend one of these to anyone with eyesight issues. They're a simple slip on, click in place eyecup, and they make viewing so much easier.

I've been using (D)SLR cameras for 35 years - in that time, I've lost two of these eyecups, both in the last 6 months. Not sure why they've started to eject themselves but they're essential for comfort. Luckily they're under a tenner but ruins the day when you lose one though. As ever WEX deliver the goods in supersmart time but I still like to carry a spare (in the vain hope it stops me ever losing another ever again)

I lost one out in the field and felt lost without it and couldn't get the replacement quickly enough. They're definitely required if like me you wear glasses to avoid scratching your glasses. Even if you don't wear glasses it makes using the viewfinder much more comfortable and helps to avoid accidentally moving the dioptre adjustment knob.
