[Employee of philipsglobal] This food processor needs bigger blades so it would be easier for me to chop tough walnuts.

Previously I had a food processor which was too bulky and too heavy to be convenient and useful. It was powerful, but way over the top for my needs. The Philips HR7510 suited me perfectly. It's light and compact, so it takes a lot less room in my kitchen cupboard. I use it to grate veges, mince meat, blend cake mixes etc., and it performs these tasks very well.A small word of warning: The first time I picked up the slicing / grating disc (by the center spindle hub), I sliced my thumb open on the slicing blade. It is RAZOR SHARP, and the sharp parts of the blade extend all the way to the ends of the slicing blade. In my view, this blade should have blunt ends. I accept that I was careless, but it seemed very easy for this to happen. Pick up the slicing / grating disc by the edges to avoid this happening!I've had this appliance now for around three weeks, and couldn't be happier with it's performance.
