I've had the processor for a few weeks now and have not yet used the dough blade or the whisk. Everything else has been 5 star. It grates, chops and slices perfectly in seconds. I hesitated between the 4200XL and the 3200XL, the price was the same for both sizes on the Magimix website. However, at Harts of Stur, the 3200XL was less expensive, which seems logical. I have found the 3200XL big enough and it doesn't take up much counter space. However, if you have the space, it might be better to get the bigger model with the 950 watt motor. The base is not much bigger on the 4200XL but it is quite a bit taller than the 3200XL and would not fit in below a cupboard. I suggest measuring carefully before deciding. The machine is heavy and to use it fully, it needs to be left on the counter, not in a cupboard.
