Le Philips Shaver 1000 S1142/00 offre un rasage fiable et lisse grâce aux lames PowerCut et est entièrement étanche pour un nettoyage facile. La prise ergonomique est confortable et l'appareil convient au visage et à la tête. Le rapport qualité-prix est apprécié. Les inconvénients sont un moteur faible pour les poils épais, un temps de charge long et un résultat moins lisse que les modèles plus chers. Impossible à utiliser pendant la charge. Un bon choix pour les besoins de base.

J'ai offert ce rasoir pour l'anniversaire de mon ami. Son petit prix explique certainement son manque de puissance et même après 15 min, le rasage est loin d'être parfait. Les seuls points positifs : il est relativement silencieux, léger et tient bien dans la main. Cependant son temps de recharge (8h) est terriblement long. Mon ami a très peur qu'au bout d'1 an, la batterie ne tienne plus la charge (déjà eu ce problème avec un précédent rasoir). L'absence de support fait qu'après son nettoyage à l'eau, le rasoir reste trempé sur le rebords du lavabo toute la matinée. Bref, je regrette beaucoup cet achat.

I predominantly use this shaver for my head and I always have to do a wet shave using another brand three blade razor. I am experienced with electric shavers and this is the 1st phillips one I have bought. I have a number of electric shavers best in my opinion by far is the Remington, then the braun series 5, then the phillips, then last 2 being a platinum pro Pitbull and also a Baldy, which does not live up to its name.

It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.

CI can't fault the razor init's own right, but I do miss not having the side trimmer.
