Le Braun Series 5 51-M1000s est apprécié pour sa prise en main ergonomique, son nettoyage facile avec EasyClean et la technologie AutoSense qui s'adapte à la barbe. La batterie dure longtemps et la charge rapide est pratique. L'appareil est totalement étanche. Les inconvénients sont l'absence de tondeuse intégrée, une tête non flexible et pas d'étui de voyage. Bon choix pour l'entretien facile, moins pour les voyageurs ou ceux qui veulent une tête flexible.

I bought this Series 5 to replace my, still functioning earlier model 5 with trimmer & cleaning station. As the new 5 was double the price of a new cutter assembly for my old 5, I thought why not. I kept the old 5 as the new one has no trimmer, except as an accessory. The new 5's water proofing failed and I had to have it replaced with the flexible head Series 6, which is better. The long hair 'catcher' on the new 5/6 is not functioning as the old 5. The centre blade flattens the hair before it can be cut.

Just over 12 months old and the foil need replacin Foils don’t last Shame they don’t last longer as the replacement is nearly half the price of a complete New razer
