Otterbox Defender Apple iPad (2021/2020) Coque Intégrale Noir

I received mine a few weeks ago. First of all it was very difficult to figure out as it had no instructions. I agree with what you're thinking, I didn't think it would need instruction either, but trust me, you do. I had to watch YouTube videos to figure it out. Also, I very much dislike the two piece system. After years of opening up my iPad and just folding the cover piece in back of it, now I have to unsnap the cover piece, which isn't easy, and set it aside. That is not convenient at all. After using it for a few weeks I have confirmed my dislike of this system. I now find myself NOT wanting to use my iPad due to the inconvienience of that snap on, seperate piece for the cover. I want the protectiveness this item offers, but I want it to be easier to use. There has to be a better way. Would I buy again? No I wouldn't. I'm still not convinced I want to keep it. Would I recommend it to friends/family? Absolutely not.

Been using this Defender Case for my iPad 9 Generation for several months and am VERY impressed. Love the screen protector and have no issues with it interfering with my iPad functions. A lot of thought went into this design...the protective corners, lightning port cover, various cut outs, snap on cover that also functions as a stand, etc. Watched video first so installation was easy and yes it's a tight fit, just as it should be. Fits iPad 9 perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I wanted. The iPad is too thin and difficult to pickup - it is slick. i was concerned that I would drop it. The case adds the right amount of texture and grip to easily grab it without dropping. It is also still thin enough to sit nicely on the stand I had purchased earlier. I do not use the turtle shell with stand yet but can see using it on trips.

I have been using Otterbox Defender Series cases throughout the many years that I have owned many Apple iPhones and iPads and each one has always provided outstanding protection. I have dropped each countless times and the cases always have done an outstanding job of protecting the phones and tablets without damage to either. And Otterbox's warranty service has been terrific in the replacement of anything that ever needs replacing should the need arise. Although seemingly expensive, you get what you pay for and the quality of an Otterbox product never disappointed. Well worth the money for the level of protection provided.
