Le Kumho Ecsta HS51 215/55R17 94V est un pneu été axé sur les performances qui se distingue surtout par ses qualités sur sol mouillé. Les tests indépendants et les avis d’utilisateurs soulignent souvent son très bon freinage et son grip sous la pluie, avec une consommation de carburant et une usure jugées correctes pour ce segment. Op zich redelijke banden in vele opzichten, maar bij een beetje vochtig wegdek is de zijwaartse grip waardeloos, levensgevaarlijk in flauwe lange bochten. Je glijdt met alle 4 de wielen tegelijk, zonder dat je eerst merkt dat de auto of de banden moeite hebben. Waar ik met goedkope chinese en koreaanse banden vlot door de bocht kon, moet ik nu voorzichtig rijden.

Really impressed with the quality of these tires. Until now always had Michelin tires under my car. Because I want to keep this car for another 2 years, I didn't want to buy very expensive tires anymore, but these kumho tires give at least as good grip as Michelin, especially in wet weather. What is especially pleasant is the sound. The tires are remarkably quiet compared to Michelin, which I still notice after half a year while driving.

I drive about 30,000km a year and these tires lasted me three summers so now the fourth spring has a couple of miles left on the surface. Reliable, slow and evenly wearing tires. No problems with quality. However, not particularly fuel-efficient, of course, can also be due to my driving style. As a new thing, really good grip in all conditions and quiet tire noise, with wear, of course, the properties deteriorate as in other tires. I recommend if you value long life in summer tires.
