The planer feels solid from from the off. Doesn't kick and I found it accurate. The case is brilliant. Strong and big enough to contain the planer, guide and dust bag. On arrival the hex key was missing but a call to the supplier resolved that. They sent me a quality SET of hex keys. I wasn't expecting that! Good purchase.
