Mont Blanc Explorer Platinum est un parfum boisé‑aromatique sec avec des notes marquées de feuille de violette, de sauge et de cèdre. De nombreux avis le décrivent comme adulte, propre et très adapté au bureau ou aux situations formelles, avec un caractère sûr mais séduisant. La tenue est généralement jugée bonne à forte, souvent autour de 6 à 8 heures ou plus, et plusieurs utilisateurs mentionnent des compliments et un sillage agréable. En revanche, les fans de l’Explorer original regrettent la fraîcheur fruitée façon Aventus, ce qui rend Platinum moins ludique et un peu moins axé sur les compliments faciles. Le parfum est souvent qualifié de très sec et poudré, avec un fond boisé assez synthétique, ce qui ne plaît pas à tout le monde et peut sembler générique ou proche d’autres fragrances à la violette et à l’ambre. Pour l’acheteur, c’est surtout un bon choix si l’on cherche un parfum quotidien soigné, moderne et fiable, moins si l’on veut quelque chose de très unique ou très sucré.

The smell of santal 33 is good, but it’s so ubiquitous that yesterday I was on a tour of an art exhibit and successfully triangulated which of the 50 guests had it on based on the unmissable pickle scent. If you like Santal 33 but don’t like the pickle note or the recognition it causes, this is worth a try! This is a versatile, creamy sandalwood with some green and floral notes similar to santal 33 by le labo. However, the signature salty pickle scent is replaced by some sweetness reminiscent of coconut. This lets it stand on its own, even though I still think it took some inspiration. Works fairly well year-round and in a variety of settings and a solid choice for everyday professional settings when you don’t want to wear a blue shower gel scent. That being said, I haven’t made my mind up on repurchasing as the sweeter side can get cloying on really hot summer days.

Not the most luxurious but smells good.. fine for daily 'work' use but dont bother with the night product they are practically them same
