Loewe Solo Loewe EDT est un parfum agrumes‑boisé épicé que beaucoup décrivent comme élégant, adulte et pourtant moderne. L’accord d’agrumes, d’épices et de bois est souvent salué pour son bon équilibre et jugé adapté à un usage quotidien, au bureau et aux journées chaudes. La performance reste toutefois un point clé : plusieurs sources mentionnent une forte projection au début, puis un parfum qui se rapproche rapidement de la peau et peut disparaître assez vite sur certains, alors que d’autres constatent une bonne tenue. Quelques critiques trouvent aussi le parfum un peu ennuyeux ou peu original face à d’autres fragrances masculines, et une minorité se plaint d’une facette synthétique ou rêche. Si vous cherchez un parfum masculin sûr, élégant et discret, il peut très bien convenir, mais si vous attendez une puissance maximale et une grande originalité, il faut bien peser ces éléments.

The Solo Cedro doesn't really reinvent the wheel, but it is a good all-rounder, similar to Blue Fragrances. Perhaps it is even a Blue Fragrance in the broadest sense. It starts off fresh-spicy in the typical shower gel direction, but is accompanied by a pleasantly unobtrusive citrus note and a distinct masculine woodiness. Overall, the scent is unobtrusive, yet still has a bit of edge thanks to the woods. It is a typically masculine freshie that is very versatile. One could certainly reach for something else, especially for evenings out. This scent works from spring to autumn; in winter, it will likely get a bit lost. Longevity and sillage are average. The price-performance ratio is also standard. As at least a somewhat more interesting alternative to other shower gel scents, the Solo Cedro is worth a try.

I wonder about two things regarding the reviews for this perfume: 1) My bottle looks different than in the photo; has the formula been changed? because 2) I think the scent is really great! I can't quite understand the comments about it being synthetic; I rather feel that the scent is perhaps a bit too aquatic and fresh, which is why the cedar doesn't come across as heavy and dominant, but it is definitely noticeable. It's a wonderful summer scent if you want to smell fresh yet somewhat "rough," an exceptionally lovely fragrance that isn't particularly complex but lasts well and is very well received by others, which is why it works almost all the time. One of my current top 5.
