HUGO BOSS Hugo Dark Blue Eau de Toilette 75 ml - Vaporisateur EDT

For me, this scent will always remain a classic, but nothing more, as I believe this fragrance is simply too far behind for this era. Due to the sharp ginger and cardamom, this scent feels very dry to me right from the start, and with the sage, cypress, tobacco, and suede, I find that it doesn't really smell any better. However, if you are into these rather darker and drier fragrances, I think this one fits perfectly, but it doesn't suit my taste. Nevertheless, it will always remain a classic for me.

The Boss Soul Eau de Toilette is not a fragrance that makes me burst into cheers, but I still find it solid. The longevity on my skin is about 10 hours with a rather subtle sillage. The top note starts fresh, fruity-citrusy, synthetic but also oriental-spicy with aromas of bergamot, mandarin peels, cardamom, pepper, anise, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. The heart note remains spicy-oriental but also becomes sweeter with a certain powderiness. Here I detect ambrette seeds, cinnamon, and coriander seeds. The base is woody, balsamic, and still sweet with hints of amber, vanilla, and tonka beans. Even though I wasn't thrilled, I would like to sincerely thank my colleague Moni for the manufacturer sample of "Boss Soul (Eau de Toilette) | Hugo Boss."

Glad to see this back on the shelves. This is my hubby's favourite and it was unavailable for so many years.

I don’t like the smell. It’s so strong, and there wasn’t the bottle head or leap. ( so hard to pump out m) The cup is not there too.
