Carolina Herrera CH EDT 100 ml

For me, CH Men Privé has truly been a loyal companion over the past few years. In autumn and winter, it can be worn optimally both indoors and outdoors without being too overpowering. The fragrance is sexy, elegant and seductive. I especially love the fine leather note and the "dirty" whiskey. I simply love this fragrance. It could project a little more strongly and have better longevity. In my opinion, you can't overspray this fragrance. It is a real shame that it is no longer being produced. The bottle and the fragrance are a vibe of their own! Luckily, I still have about 120/150 ml left. I will enjoy the fragrance over the next few years, and I hope you can too.

Tokyo, 1983. It was a long day full of phone calls and paperwork. The sky from your panoramic window on the 34th floor begins to slowly change from blue to purple. You walk past your secretary, thank her, and press the elevator button. In the underground garage, you see your white Mazda RX-7. Outside, it has already become dark, and somewhere in Shibuya, you get out and head to your favorite bar. The entire scene is shrouded in a gray fog of cigar smoke. Only the dim orange lamps give you an idea of where the bar is. Tears of the Star by Casiopea is playing. You order a Yamazaki on the rocks. That’s exactly what CH Men Privé is for me.

To me, this is very much like a blend of 75% Le Male Le Parfum and 25% Dior Homme 2011. The neroli in the opening is fresh and really is great, but it's too bad that it only sticks around for 15-20min or so. Performance is, unfortunately, nowhere near as good as LMLP or DH, but isn't terrible, so I'd say it's just average, at 4-6 hours or so. Honestly, I came here to write a review because, after looking at Fragrantica, you really can't get an accurate depiction of this from anything on there. Bottom line, this isn't as strong or powdery as either LMLP or DH, and it's not as complex or dark as something like Dior Homme Intense, or even as clean as Prada l'Homme. It's kind of just in the middle of all of those, and, IMO, if you have any of those already, this would be both redundant and also not as interesting. If you don't have any of those, this may be worth a sample, as you might like this safer/less-polarizing take on iris more than those. Cheers!

I've been using this cologne for over 25 years. Smells amazing, and always get compliments from men and especially women. It's not to strong, but it is a powerful memorable and pleasant masculine scent that it's hard to compare it to other colognes or fragrances. Is a scent that you will always enjoy wether you are the wearer or passing by the wearer. Is the only cologne you'll ever need. And you can't beat Walgreens price!!!

Whiskey, leather, cardamom, lavender. Sounds sexy, is sexy! A pleasant bar, date, (social meeting), meeting perfume. Gives me James Bond vibes > means good. If it were a bit stronger, it would be a 10/10. With the current longevity + sillage, I unfortunately can't give the fragrance a 10, even though I would love to. Bottle 10/10. Flippy cap to emphasize sentences and casually flip it during a conversation. Reminds me a bit of a whiskey decanter. Fits well, haha.
