Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza est une version raffinée de la Colonia originale, avec une ouverture puissante de citron, d’orange, de bergamote, de pamplemousse et d’autres notes d’agrumes. Viennent ensuite des accents floraux et verts qui évoluent vers un fond de vétiver, patchouli, musc blanc et ambre. De nombreux utilisateurs soulignent sa grande polyvalence : le parfum fonctionne particulièrement bien en été et par temps chaud, tout en restant frais, propre et très chic. Pour une eau de cologne, Essenza offre une tenue remarquablement bonne et un sillage discret mais présent. La qualité perçue des matières premières et le flacon noir classique sont souvent cités comme atouts majeurs. En revanche, certains utilisateurs plus jeunes trouvent le style un peu vieillot ou trop formel, et il est rapporté que la projection peut être inégale et que le parfum devient plus plat et moins pétillant par temps froid. Les acheteurs en quête d’une fragrance très moderne, sucrée ou extrêmement puissante doivent en tenir compte.

This is a lovely unisex fragrance which I love having on hand for summer fragrances rotation. My husband also will wear this on the few occasions when he wears fragrance. It is one of the few "unisex" fragrances, for me anyway, is truly unisex. The sharp, almost chypre feel seems to grow stronger on the man, and not so much on the woman. I noticed another review liken this to 4711 and I can see this, however to my nose the acqua di parma has a stronger, more feminine note where the 4711 is simply blandly pleasant. (4711 is just out of the shower - acqua di parma is "I'm ready to go out and face the world!" ) A definite winner. Sophisticated simplicity. Four stars.

I'm torn. This is a a lovely fragrance, initially crisp & uplifting, then warm & soft but compared to other eau de colognes its expensive & has poor longevity. Even 4711 eau de Cologne (which I love) has similar but bolder notes is half the price and still lasts longer than Colonia Its a unisex fragrance and a friend described it as "sporty" However, I'm prepared to occasionally indulge in the expense of wearing this as I love this fragrance *update* I found that when I sprayed it on my wrist the fragrance lingered as it caught the sleeve of my clothes - this definitely makes it last - I've noticed the fragrance is still noticeable a few days later I've now tried the body cream, which is lovely but has only a slight fragrance and is very expensive for the price, so wouldn't buy again

As with all Aqcua di Parma fragrances this is a beautiful scent and one you are very unlikely to encounter others wearing.

Was panicking a little bit after last review , just received it perfect , smelt it in Harvey Nichols and it's just the same lovely .

I rather love this. A light (but not sheer), crisp summer scent with an oily base note that is probably the jasmine and rose; it's that kind of oily feel you get with real flower extracts. Not unlike Novaya Zarya Troinoi in herbal/oil feel, and definitely has it's roots in the same Gentleman's Scent genre (this was used to scent gentleman's handkerchiefs, apparently.) Lovely
