Prada Les Infusions d'Amande est un parfum d’amande doux et poudré dans le style aérien de la collection Infusion de Prada. Il est souvent salué pour son raffinement : l’amande est travaillée avec délicatesse, sans excès de sucre, et mêlée à des nuances florales et musquées légères. Le résultat est élégant et apaisant, parfait pour le bureau, les événements formels ou les amateurs de parfums discrets. En revanche, beaucoup notent que la projection est très modérée et que le parfum reste proche de la peau, ce qui peut décevoir si l’on attend une présence marquée. I usually find almond difficult; it’s often too sticky, too edible, too sweet for me. Infusion d'Amande goes in a completely different direction; here, nothing is gourmand or sticky, on the contrary. The scent opens very lightly and powdery, with a hint of bergamot. Elegant and clean. Over time, the powdery notes become stronger for me, while in the dry down, the musk-sandalwood base is felt gently. Indeed, this is the first almond fragrance that I can wear, not just in winter but also on warmer days. It doesn’t completely blow me away, as it is still a bit too soapy for my taste. But overall, it’s another really beautiful perfume from the Infusion line, which I generally like very much for its rather subtle elegance.

So happy to have discovered this as a replacement for a limited edition. It is beautiful and long lasting and my new go-to fragrance.

This is such a dreamy, heavenly scent. I don't think this has been reformulated because my decant from several years back smells just like my new bottle in the latest packaging. This is a gorgeous, seamless blend that whispers “old money.” This is an inoffensive, ever so sweet almond oil and powder. The powder is the richest, most elegant, finely milled “baby powder” variety, to my nose. (I’m not a fan of baby powder, nor am I averse to it. This, I love, however.) I, personally, find this to be head and shoulders above the Iris in the same collection. This fragrance is just so delicate and pure. So sophisticated. Pure class, yet approachable and warm. Seasonally agnostic to my nose, if wearing it indoors. Otherwise, it might be more for Spring weather. It’s quite close to the skin, so I see this as a fresh out of the shower fragrance. It feels perfect for lounging at home in your most luxurious PJs. It’s a true joy.

Almond and heliotrope centric perfume. Straight forward. Airy, like a cloud. Slight anise note that seems more like ginger or cinnamon to me. Big Tonka emerges later. Later, a gentle musk. Nice!
