Grès Cabotine est un parfum floral vert frais avec un style bien affirmé. De nombreux utilisateurs le portent depuis des décennies et soulignent surtout sa longue tenue et son sillage marqué : quelques pulvérisations suffisent pour le sentir toute la journée et recevoir souvent des compliments. Le prix pour 100 ml est souvent cité comme un grand atout, surtout au vu de l’intensité. En revanche, certains trouvent la composition un peu datée ou trop présente, notamment en milieu chaud ou pour un usage quotidien au bureau. Ce n’est pas un parfum doux et proche de la peau, mais un classique affirmé qui conviendra mieux aux amateurs de floraux verts puissants qu’à ceux qui recherchent quelque chose de très discret.

For years I have faithfully used Estee Lauder's Beautiful. I never thought I would change. Ever. However, two events changed my thinking and prompted me to reconsider. The first event took me by surprise. Out of the blue, my husband told me that the scent of Beautiful was too strong. Secondly, I was gifted a bottle of Irresistible (another Givenchy parfum). I used that until the bottle ran out. My husband thought the scent was pleasing and not overwhelming. Going into the store, I planned on simply purchasing more of the Irresistible. However, I found myself expanding my options. When I brought a sample home, my husband surprised me by selecting Dahlia over the Irresistible. The rest, as they say, is history. I love the Dahlia!!
