Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia est un parfum de fleurs blanches affirmé, largement apprécié pour sa note de gardénia assez réaliste : douce, crémeuse et généreuse, avec un caractère clairement féminin et élégant. Avec seulement quelques pulvérisations, la sillage est souvent bien présente, ce qui plaît aux amateurs de fleurs blanches classiques, d’autant plus que le prix reste généralement bas. Plusieurs avis signalent toutefois qu’au départ le parfum peut sembler un peu synthétique ou agressif et que, pour certaines, il devient trop sucré ou trop lourd, surtout en cas de surdosage. La tenue est perçue de manière contrastée : certains obtiennent de longues heures de parfum, tandis que d’autres trouvent qu’il s’estompe plus vite. Quelques utilisatrices notent aussi que la puissance florale peut déclencher des allergies ou des maux de tête chez les personnes sensibles. Si vous préférez les senteurs douces et aériennes, mieux vaut l’essayer d’abord, mais pour les vraies fans de gardénia, c’est une option abordable et pleine de caractère.

Gardenia is an interesting floral essence that I haven't found done well so far because if you are familiar with the blooms, gardenia flowers have such an overpowering scent on their own. (That's why gardenia bushes are planted strategically to not overpower doorways, patios, and spaces where people will linger for a while.) ET's Gardenia is a very straightforward gardenia scent. The initial spritz does smell cheap and plastic-y, but hear me out! It smells like REAL gardenias in the dry-down, which is impressive, making me think this could be an expensive Le Labo or Byredo scent. For only $15 and with spring incoming, I'm definitely adding this to my rotation.

Very disappointed in this fragrance, I do not detect any gardenia notes, a very green fragrance, but there is a odd smell to it, not sure if it is the carnation. Even in the dry down, I am not impressed.

I bought this but was not what I wanted. It did not smell like the original Jungle Gardenia and did not last all day.
