Elizabeth Arden started out with a decent green tea fragrance and has created a bit of a flanker empire. This one adds mimosa, a note I love a lot when it smells honeyed and a bit pastry-like, as it does in YSL Cinema. This is a pretty, fresh floral that smells a bit like it could come from the Jo Malone stable, but it is more loud. Arden does not believe in shy florals. These are the folks who brought you Red Door. It reminds me of the now defunct Healing Garden Green Tea, but the mimosa removes the astringency from the tea. The result is less tannin, less green, and more spring floral. It fades a bit before it becomes headache-inducing, but this is still a sweet, soprano fragrance. Lasting power is so-so.
