The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet that works just as well in both forms. It packs in plenty of power as well as a stunning touchscreen display, and it runs on the most recent Windows 11. It won't be for everyone but it's a truly fantastic piece of kit.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is decent for business use. It has a compact, lightweight design that makes it easy to carry around. You can configure it with an Intel 11th Gen Core i5 or i7 CPU, which are fast enough to handle productivity tasks like text processing and spreadsheets. It also provides a great user experience with its sharp display, comfortable keyboard, and outstanding 1080p webcam. Unfortunately, it only has two USB-C ports, so you may need an adapter or dock if you want to connect multiple peripherals. Also, its battery doesn't last a full eight-hour workday.

I don't normally buy technology from Staples, but discovered they had the best price on this Surface Pro 8 16GB RAM, 512 SSD with Windows 11. And, we're also willing to price match if needed. One downside was the inability to pick up in a store, it had to be shipped and took 1.5 week to arrive.

This device is very versatile, visually appealing and gets the work done.

I replaced a good Surface Pro 4 with a much better Surface Pro 8.
