Asus ROG Strix 16 G614PP-RV030W - 16" WUXGA IPS AMD Ryzen 9-8940HX - 1.000 GB - 1 GB

Exactly what we wanted and the salesperson in the store was very knowledgeable.

Smoother than our desktop. Great compromise between price and high level performance.

Powerful laptop at a great price (bought on sale). Display is bright and will run just about anything I throw at it. Of note, the trackpad does have occasional lag in some instances, fans can get rather loud if under load (even with custom fan curves set), and the power brick can get HOT.

The computer was priced well and was a perfect gift for my son. The ordering and pick up was easy.

Awesome laptop. GPU and CPU is great, screen is bright and looks good. Built pretty well, nothing flexes or bends when picking up and walking with laptop. Battery life is pretty good. Played a few of the best looking games at max settings and did not have any issues. Only cons I can think of - There is no number pad on the right, which is not ideal for me. Charger is on the big side.
