3rd party lenses come with some issues, but I don\'t know what some websites were smoking when they reviewed this lens. I have the newer, better looking lens, and it is overall an awesome little piece of glass. CA and fringing issues are real, but avoidable if, for example, you stop down to f2 or so or avoid shooting chrome bumpers wide open. That said, I\'ve not had a photo totally ruined by those distortions yet in practice. In any case, I\'ve used this indoors - a lot, and gotten many an amazing photo with great bokeh, color, contrast, and overall love this thing. As a 23mm lens (35mm equiv) it is super useful for a range of photography. Generally I seem to reach for this one when I know I\'ll be close to my subject(s), in less than ideal light, or trapped indoors in smallish rooms. If I have more room, I like the 56mm of this lens even better.
