8 years since I bought my first Sigma 35mm f/1.4, this lens is still my go-to lens for my Nikon D800E. It has a robust body with superior autofocus performance and accuracy. Other “experts” say that this lens has the poorest mechanic among any other 35mm f/1.4 lens, but I say otherwise. Why else would I stick with this outstanding lens? If you could still get one, I am sure you’ll know what I mean.

Shooting this on a Sigma Quattro H. WOW. at ISO 100 this is my sharpest lens for the camera at the moment. Focus is very accurate. I have not had to use the dock to tweak it. Wide open, I'm not a fan of the edges. Stopped down 2 stops my copy is sharp across the image. The lens handles shooting into the sun very well. The camera on the other hand has issues with the extra piece of glass inside. Those of you with this camera will know what I mean. You won't be sorry if you buy this for a Quattro camera.

This is a solid piece of equipment. I use it for my Sony a7III and I use Eye Auto-Focus. I've had it for roughly three months now and I've only had about four auto-focus issues since and it was because of low lighting. I was once an unhappy man because I couldn't find the right lens which led to complications in my marriage. Ever since I bought this lens, my world has brightened up and my mood has changed, and that made my wife stop cheating on me, so we can finally raise our two sons the right way. Thank you Sigma, you've done a better service than you could imagine.
