I love this lens! The bokeh is amazingly smooth. It takes a bit of work to get the hang of it but once you do the photos are terrific. The hardest aspect of the lens is to make sure the image is truly in focus since its a manual focus lens and the area that is in focus is very small. Once you understand how to use it the images are very sharp. Practice makes perfect with this lens and the price point is well within reach.

I have the Composer Pro II 50mm and I like the pictures that I get from it. I have been wanting the Sol for a while and was excited when B&H had it on sale but I just dont like the photos I get from it so I returned it.

Lensbaby hit a home run with this little lens ! The sweet spot stays in the frame ( no worries ) and the aperture is fixed ( again, no worries ). So far, I've used it on my Canon 77D for urban landscapes and for tabletop Still Lifes. Great lens - I love it !
