La Xiaomi Amazfit GTS 2 est une montre connectée rectangulaire avec boîtier en aluminium et écran couleur AMOLED de 1,65". La montre intègre GPS+GLONASS, un capteur de fréquence cardiaque optique et plusieurs capteurs de mouvement pour suivre l’activité quotidienne et différents profils sportifs. Sa batterie de 246 mAh offre environ sept jours d’utilisation normale, avec davantage en mode économie d’énergie. Le modèle est étanche 5ATM et propose environ 3 Go de stockage interne pour des fichiers musicaux locaux.

Achetée en Août 2022. Rien à voir avec l'Apple Watch qui reste le must des montres connectées, celle-ci fait le job et a une autonomie parfaite contrairement à l'Apple Watch. Plus de 7 jours en ne la poussant pas trop. Parfaite en réception d'appels (on ne peut par contre pas émettre), très bien en réception sms qui ne sont pas tronqués.

Battery life is ok, kind of. Good for the price though. Tracks well. Easy to answer calls with clear voice output. Light weight. Trendy and fashionable. Looks great on the wrist.

With the GTS 2, Huami has refined the design of its square smartwatch for the better and also made it a better smartwatch. The downside is that it’s got a little more expensive and lost a bit of its battery stamina and appeal in the way. If you want an attractive square smartwatch that doubles as a decent fitness tracker, it’s one to look at. If you want a more rounded smartwatch and sports tracking, look in the direction of Garmin and Apple.

The Amazfit GTS 2 is still a good smartwatch, but it's been shown up by the cheaper GTS 2 Mini and GTS 2e. The advanced voice assistant and music features are too weak to justify the price hike – so we're pleased there are alternatives in the GTS range. But the hike in price, which coincides with the lower cost of the Apple Watch SE, Fitbit Versa 3 with GPS and even the Amazfit Bip U, make the GTS 2 seem less impressive this time around.
