La Garmin Instinct E 40mm Bleu/Jaune est une montre de sport solide avec une grande autonomie et un suivi fiable. Elle est idéale pour les activités extérieures grâce à sa robustesse et son étanchéité. L'utilisation se fait par boutons et l'écran est noir et blanc, ce qui paraît moins moderne. Pour ceux qui veulent des analyses avancées ou un écran tactile couleur, il existe de meilleures alternatives. Cette montre convient surtout à ceux qui recherchent une montre de sport simple, durable et précise sans trop de fonctions supplémentaires.

Chose this particular variant due to previous positive experience with a Garmin Vivosport but required at least 8 hours GPS cover while kayak fishing. Although the 40mm size was the smallest available with required features, I anticipated it being too large for everyday wear & would only use it when kayaking. Have been pleasantly surprised with the compact size & in fact wear it all the time. Have not tested the GPS duration to its limits as yet but the early signs from shorter activities suggest it will provide that claimed. The extra features like barometric pressure, moon phase, sunrise & sunset data should improve my fishing experience.

Light and rugged. Although it doesn’t have n blood pressure sensor it is still very helpful with tracking other health stats.

Bought this 2 months in advance for a 70th birthday present, unfortunately when it was tried on the strap was ridiculous short. Because I ordered it so far in advance, I am unable to return it so now have to try to find a compatible strap.
