La Garmin Instinct 3 AMOLED 45mm propose un écran AMOLED vibrant pour une meilleure visibilité et un suivi GPS précis avec support multibande. Elle dispose de fonctions de suivi de la forme physique et du sommeil étendues, ainsi que d'une lampe torche LED intégrée. Cependant, la durée de batterie en mode GPS est limitée à un maximum de 68 heures, et il n'y a pas de fonctionnalité tactile ou de stockage pour la musique et les cartes. De plus, elle ne dispose pas de fonctionnalité ECG. Pour ceux qui privilégient la qualité de l'écran et la précision du GPS, c'est un bon choix, mais pour ceux qui ont besoin d'une plus longue durée de batterie, la version Solar pourrait être meilleure.

I like the Instinct series. I've bought and used two over the years. Unfortunately if you bicycle, use an elliptical, or use a treadmill, the watch will not measure your heart rate accurately. You can start exercising for up half an hour, and the heart rate will be same as if you had never started. Then suddenly it will show an increased heart rate that is often 50% higher than actual. I have compared my Instinct to an iwatch and machine mounted heart rate monitors and the outcome is always the same. Garmin even admits the problem by saying that you should 'warm up' 10 minutes before exercising. Way too optimistic and even then it shows an inaccurate heart rate.

I replaced my aging Forerunner with this. What an incredible watch. If you want a garmin that you don't have to charge every 2 days and has a g shock type of feel then this watch is perfect for you. Be warned the 50mm is HUGE. I'm used to it now but I was shocked when I first got it.

To find a watch that fits an artisans lifestyle is rare. But the Garmin instinct 3 delivers on every promise that it gives, durable, stylish and modern. Still waiting to see if the solar battsery will hold for 40 days but it is delivering good results with the step monitoring, gym monitoring. All rounded watch for the active person.
