I am really happy with my purchase. The battery life is excellent. Never have to worry about charging. It gives me all the fitness measurements I need. Highly recommended!

Upgraded from my original instinct due to the solar feature. I didn’t check the online reviews first but the solar function doesnt recharge the battery like a traditional solar panel, it just prolongs the battery life depending on how much sun it’s exposed to. Improvements are that it’s lighter, the heart rate sensor is better and it’s not as bulky. Overall happy with the improved features but disappointed with the solar feature so wondered if I really needed to upgrade.

I used to wear cheaper digital watches, and the watch itself and the software at Garmin has been tremendous.
