If you can find one, this is the best ultra wide for professional use on the market. A bunch of the negative reviews assumed they could run a 5k monitor off a laptop with a low end video card but no, you can't. I hope they make new ones.

I purchased this monitor when it first became available. 5K was extraordinarily useful for photographic and video editing. My only criticism is when/how a firmware update using OnScreen Control froze and then damaged the 5120 x 2160 resolution mode. High-resolution images are permanently cropped in. Support has been of no help in resolving the issue despite repetitive efforts.

This monitor has several significant drawbacks. 1. Despite being marketed as 5K, it only supports HDMI 2.0, which has a maximum resolution of 4K. What prevents the installation of more modern HDMI 2.1 standards? 2. Connecting a Mac via Thunderbolt causes the monitor to take a long time to wake up, sometimes causing confusion with the resolution and no sound. 3. The only fully functional interface is DisplayPort, but unfortunately, it only has one connector.

Awesome monitor. Professionally color calibrated. Big enough to display multiple programs/documents at the same time and maximize the workflow speed. Screen splitting software included is like having multiple monitors packed into one. Great sound. No web cam or microphone, but those can be easily added if/when you want them.

I use this display all day everyday with an M1 Mac Mini 16GB/2TB and it works flawlessly. It scales beautifully and renders text razor sharp. Next to my M2 MacBook Airs retina display the two displays seem to have identical resolution. I love that it uses a single Thunderbolt cable and has two USB-A ports in the back. I have an 18 port USB hub mounted to the back of it to keep all peripherals tidy. I tried two 3440x1440 ultra wide displays and returned them both before getting this one. Text was just too fuzzy. No comparison. Could not be more happy with this excellent display.
