I purchased this monitor my livingroom work station. I chose LG based on previous positive product experience. I selected this model for its contemporary looks (white). The monitor was purchased new, sealed undamaged box, the contents were well packaged was undisturbed with no sign of damage or repackaging. The monitor itself was also in perfect condition but as soon as I turned on the power I was Immediately disappointed to see a horizontal line of dead pixels across the top half of the screen. I haven't yet started a warranty claim, Hopefully LG customer service will offer some sort of compensation there's a lack of their quality control
