Sadly the monitor I got seems to be a duff one with frequent full screen black-outs lasting five or six seconds and clicks from within the body of the monitor. It will be going back. If it worked all the time without blackouts it would have got 4.5 stars though, colours good as are response time. The various ports are a little difficult to access. I would have given it even more if the setup instructions were better, or perhaps I should say existed. The paper drawings with the box were useless. The setup relies on a good connection start, and with my Apple mini Mac attached, nothing happened initially. The 'controls' on the back seem useless without explanation-especially the 'mouse'. It took half a day to get it up and running, (and it's taking a while to get to know how the Mac works compared with Windows)

I went for this model to pair with a new mac mini and as it works really well, would definitely recommend and great value, I will upload a picture of it with this review on screen in a incredibly meta way

It was easy to assemble and connect to a MacBook Pro, and adjustable height and angle are useful. I mostly read, write or code, the monitor works well for me. Even though I am not using the monitor's full capabilities (I am not using it for gaming), I am extremely happy with it. (That was the only refurbished 27'' monitor on sale the day I came to the store.)

Pleased with my purchase. The picture quality is very good considering what you're paying. Very easy to use and set-up. Speakers are not very good, would advise using an external speaker system.
