Used for close up food photography, need accurate colour and good res. Opted for apple Mac mini and the BenQ screen. Stand is good, is removable if required, and height adjustable if needed.

Purchased to replace an aging 5K 27" iMac - to be honest if Apple had not dropped the size of the iMac screen to 24" I would have bought another iMac - and whilst their Studio Display is unquestionably lovely - the price is difficult to swallow. I have found this monitor to be a very acceptable replacement and would recommend to others in a similar position.

I have owned a 27" iMac since 2011 and was concerned that Apple dropped the screen size of their new ones to 24". I wanted a new computer and needed to weigh up compromises. Stick with the iMac and great albeit smaller screen else buy a Mac mini and external monitor. As money was a factor, I decided that this BenQ PD2725U was going to be the best choice for me. I spoke with WEX and they reassured me that if it didn't do what I wanted I had 45 days to return - they'd even collected it so, in the knowledge that it was half the price of the Apple Studio Display gave it a go. I'm really pleased that I spent more money on a better Mac and chose this monitor. I quickly got used to the scaling, it displays images well and is great to edit on. Money well spent.

Very nice monitor, but then again, it should be for the price. Moving from a 2015 5K iMac screen, the pixel count is lower, so everything appears larger, of course. Takes a bit of getting used to. The wired remote thing is a gimmick that could be done without. Colour rendition is excellent out of the box.
